Grip - The Strange World of Men
"Grippingly Romantic Western Mystery"

In this story, there is a secret laboratory/refuge set up in the middle of
nowhere to study and help Ling, a mysterious child with great powers.
No one is allowed to leave the confines of the refuge until Ling's heir is born,
and anyone who tries to leave is hunted down and killed.

After a bizarre accident during one of Lings tests, one of the
scientists discovers he has been given a strange gift, and
he plans to use it to escape!
